Organized credit report accuracy review and evidence planning in San Antonio

THE PROBLEM WE SOLVE

Confusing report data needs an organized, evidence-based review.

Generic letters and repeated disputes do not replace a clear consumer story. We help separate accurate negative information from items that may deserve a supportable accuracy or ownership review.

CLARITY

Understand what is reporting

Identify the bureau, furnisher, collector, dates, balances, ownership and status associated with each concern.

EVIDENCE

Connect facts to records

Organize statements, correspondence, identity records and other documents that support the consumer’s position.

PROCESS

Review every response cycle

Track what was submitted, how organizations responded and whether another documented action is responsible.

WHAT MAY DESERVE REVIEW

Negative credit items may be challenged when the reporting does not meet the accuracy standard.

Accurate, current and verifiable negative information generally cannot be removed merely because it is unfavorable. We review credit-report errors and derogatory items for inaccurate, incomplete, duplicated, obsolete, mixed-file, identity-theft-related or unverifiable reporting.

Identity & ownership

  • Names or addresses that are not yours
  • Mixed consumer files
  • Accounts you do not recognize
  • Identity-theft accounts

  • Closed accounts shown as open
  • Incorrect amount past due

  • Incorrect balances or limits
  • Wrong opening or payment dates
  • Duplicate accounts or debts
  • Obsolete information
04

Collections & inquiries

  • Ownership or validation concerns
  • Incomplete collection reporting
  • Unrecognized inquiries
  • Information that cannot be verified

NEGATIVE ITEMS & REPORTING ISSUES

THE FIXIT PROCESS

A seven-checkpoint roadmap—built to move forward.

Each review round follows the same disciplined path, but it does not restart at zero. We carry verified facts, responses and unresolved evidence into the next round.

01 · ASSESS

Clarify the goal and concern

Begin with the public readiness form without sending sensitive records.

02 · DISCLOSE

Review scope and rights

Receive the written terms, limitations, cancellation information and client responsibilities before paid work begins.

03 · SECURE

Use the approved document channel

Provide only the requested reports and records through the authorized workflow.

04 · ANALYZE

Separate facts from assumptions

Identify ownership, status, dates, balances and evidence connected to each concern.

05 · ACT

Use the applicable channel

Submit only individualized, supportable requests when appropriate.

06 · REVIEW

Read the response cycle

Compare updated information, responses and remaining evidence needs.

07 · PROTECT

Support long-term readiness

Use education, monitoring choices and financial habits to reinforce progress.

HOW THE CYCLE CONTINUES

Every round starts with what the last round proved.

  1. We preserve the record. Verified facts, submitted support and bureau or furnisher responses remain part of the working file.
  2. We identify the gap. The next step focuses on information that is still inaccurate, incomplete, inconsistent or unsupported.
  3. We choose the proper channel. Any follow-up must be individualized, supportable and appropriate to the evidence available.
  4. We measure the result. Updates, corrections, deletions, verifications and remaining concerns shape the next review.

Important: A new round is a continuation—not a reset and not a promise of deletion. Outcomes depend on the facts, documentation and responses in each individual case.

CONSUMER LAW, EXPLAINED CLEARLY

Know what the law protects—and how to use the correct process.

FIXIT helps clients understand the information being reported, organize supporting records and prepare individualized, supportable requests. We do not provide legal representation, invent disputes or promise a particular result.

Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA)

The FCRA governs consumer-report accuracy, access and dispute procedures. When a consumer identifies a specific error, the reporting company generally must investigate, send relevant information to the furnisher and report the results. Information shown to be wrong or that cannot be verified must be corrected or removed.

Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)

For covered consumer debts and debt collectors, the FDCPA restricts abusive, unfair and deceptive collection conduct. We help clients understand documentation, communication records and appropriate escalation options when they feel pressured, intimidated or misled.

FACTA & identity-theft protections

Identity-theft protections can support blocking or correcting information connected to fraud when the required identity-theft documentation is provided. Mixed files and personal-information errors also require careful documentation.

Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA)

CROA requires truthful representations, written disclosures and contracts, cancellation rights and compliant payment practices from covered credit-repair organizations. Our process begins with scope, limitations and consumer rights before paid work.

Educational information only—not legal advice. We may recommend contacting a qualified consumer-law attorney or government agency when the circumstances require legal interpretation or enforcement.

YOUR RIGHTS

You can dispute suspected inaccuracies yourself for free.

Specialized support is optional. Consumers may contact the credit reporting companies and information furnishers directly. FIXIT does not offer CPNs, synthetic identities or a “new credit identity,” and does not guarantee a deletion, score increase, approval or timeframe.

CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Strong support requires accurate participation.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can accurate negative information be removed?

Accurate, current and verifiable information generally cannot be removed simply because it is unfavorable.

Can I dispute information myself?

Yes. Consumers have the right to dispute suspected inaccuracies directly and at no cost.

How long will the process take?

There is no universal timeline. Timing depends on the report, supporting records, organizations involved and responses received.

Will my score increase?

No company can responsibly guarantee a score change. Scores vary by model, bureau, date and underlying report data.

Is membership the same as credit repair?

No. Education membership and specialized credit-repair support have different scopes, agreements, authorizations and billing pathways.

BEGIN WITH A READINESS ASSESSMENT

Know what is reporting before choosing what to do next.

Start with general information only. If specialized support appears appropriate, secure intake and written disclosures follow before any service commitment.
